Have you been thinking about embarking on a new adventure for 2022? Maybe a “Crash Course” at Saffron Dance should be on your New Year’s bucket list. It’s a great way to get introduced to the dance studio and its instructors, as well as their area of expertise—belly dancing.
Led by owner Elena Faye, who has decades of experience in different types of dance, the notoriously friendly and welcoming instructors regularly offer four-week Crash Courses so newbies can dip a toe in the world of belly dancing. Over the course of the weekly classes, you’ll build upon the basic movements and steps to eventually master a full-fledged dance routine. If the Crash Course has you interested in learning more, sign up for a full semester’s worth of belly-dancing classes. This will allow you the time and level of instruction you need to learn more advanced moves and put together a performance worthy of the stage. In fact, each semester ends with a recital at a local theater where you can show off your newfound skills to friends and family sitting in the audience.
